*Introductions to Science, Technology, Engineering, Math-STEM- Goal to develop an interest in STEM-activities and field trips to explore STEM development, advanced education and careers in STEM (*** Tutoring option available).

Let's Taco 'Bout It Tuesdays
Safe space for open discussion “Check-ins” allow the youth to collaborate with facilitators to support mentor –mentee groups on a variety of topics: Communication and healthy coping skill building, validating and expressing emotions.
*This program is mandatory & lasts for 12 weeks*

MONEY 101
​
Discussing all things money from budgeting to saving, investing , establishing credit, checking credit scores for free and home buying strategies.
OPERATION R.E.A.D. ​

We Read, Empower, Affirm, & Develop children through books. We want to encourage literacy, empowering each child to be who they dream to be, affirm them that they are ENOUGH and to develop and grow their minds. We provide snacks, great recap conversation and an interactive, fun learning experience outside of their daily classroom routine.

Educational groups structured by topics like:Substance use, vaping, internet safety, (un)healthy relationships, bullying, depression, etc.
*This program is mandatory & lasts for 12 weeks*

SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT
Spiritual growth skill building with Bible study, prayer, meditation & yoga...all things MINDFULNESS!

CREATIVE EXPRESSION
Painting, drawing, dancing, journaling, music, sculpture, poetry, therapeutic gardening, photography, etc.

T.U.S.K. TALKS
Teaching, Understanding, Sharing, Knowledge
Educational groups for parents and guardians (Family skill building and empowerment – Cultivating healthy relationships, effective communication, parenting skill building, positive reinforcement). Once a month, 1 hour. Referral assistance for family counseling upon request.

PEER RECOVERY SUPPORT
DBHDS trained and supervised Peer Recovery Specialist works directly with parents or guardians struggling with mental illness or addiction. (1:1, groups ,relapse prevention skill building and referral assistance.) Schedule upon request of parents/guardians.
If your child would like to join the EHF Family, which is free to all, please fill out the EHF Interest Form.
-An EHF Team member will call you within 24-48 hrs to verify the information submitted and schedule your enrollment interview. We will send intake forms to complete prior to the interview.
-Your enrollment interview will be with the Executive Director and your child will be given an admission date at that point.
